A mix of Kaufmanniana tulips in a variety of colours flowering in April and May. Also known as the Water Lily Tulip due to its distinctive shape. They flower earlier than other tulips and have short stems and wide open petals exposed to the sun. Tulips are good in flower beds and can also be planted in pots.
Plant bulbs in well dug soil or pots about 8-10cm deep and approx 15cm apart. A little bonemeal or super phosphate mixed in with the soil can be beneficial.
